Figure Drawing Sessions

Our next live model session will be on May 17, 2008 from 10 - 1pm. This is a uninstructed model drawing session held once a month. The session will allow for quick gesture poses to extended poses in any medium the artist prefers to work in.   The cost per person is   $10 per session.

Multi-Media

Paint or draw in any medium you like, or try clay sculpting.  We keep the class small enough to allow enough individual attention for you to try it all. Learn a new medium or fine tune your favorite. David Parker is a popular instructor at Carteret Community College.

Acrylic and Oil Painting

Learn to paint original paintings from photographs in this interactive class.  Lou has years of experience with pastels and other media and offers advice and solutions to problems as you paint.  She has a following and several of her students have gone on to win awards for their pastel paintings.

This class is for the first time pastels, experimenting with a different medium, or a experienced artist who wants to solidify their techniques. In this class you will work with soft and hard pastels as well as pastel pencils. Subjects such blending. stippling and hatching, different pastel brands, grounds and papers will all be covered in this workshop.

Paint Landscapes, seascapes, still lifes or portraits!!!!!

This class should be very informative and helpful for all your pastel needs!
